Sure-Wood Forest Campground
There are eight overnight campsites located along the north shore of Lake Alice. This 1,369 acre is part of the Wisconsin River System. We hope you enjoy an active, fun-filled vacation of fishing, swimming, water skiing, jet ski rides, and boating, or relax and unwind in the surrounding woods on this large lake. Plus, there's an additional five miles of water on the Wisconsin River to explore. Musky, Northern Pike, Walleye, Bass, Crappie, Perch, and Bluegill are commonly caught on Lake Alice. Sure-Wood Forest Campground has a nice area for swimming with a swim raft. Don't miss the rope swing on the Wisconsin River and see if you can spot the bald eagles nesting -- enjoy the wildlife here and watch the beautiful sandhill cranes, great blue herons, wild turkeys, deer with their fawns, Canadian geese, ducks, loons with their little ones and much more. Lake Alice - where wildlife is plentiful and the fishing is great.

Check in at Sure-Wood Forest Bar & Grill located at W4276 Sandy Ln. - Hours: Tues.-Thurs. open at 5 pm, Fri. open at 4:30 pm, Sat. & Sun. open at 8 am - Mon. closed -- If arriving before opening hours, please set up camp and then check in after hours, or call us at (715) 453-9428. Check in/out time is 11 am.

Quiet hours: 11pm - 7am - Speed limit is 5 mph on all campground roads - Pets welcome on a leash or tied up
The coin-operated Showers and Laundry facilities are located in the north part of the campground (about a 5-minute walk from the beach) - Just follow the signs
THERE IS NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY. Swim at your own risk. No diving from the boat docks. The lake is only a few feet deep, so death or serious injury will occur. All children 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Let us know if you will be bringing a boat and we will assign a boat dock - no extra charge
