Sure-Wood Forest Campground is located about 40 miles north of Wausau on U.S. HWY 51 and 4 miles east of Tomahawk on County Hwy A.  The campground is located on the north side of Lake Alice (1,369 acres) with a southwestern view of the lake.   Lake Alice connects with the Wisconsin River and is supported by Kings Dam in Tomahawk.
