Sure-Wood Forest Campground is located about 40 miles north of Wausau on U.S. Hwy 51 and 4 miles east of Tomahawk on County Hwy A - in the Town of King.
The campground is located on Lake Alice (1,369 acres) with a southwestern view of the lake. There are 8 overnight campsites located along the north shore of Lake Alice. Each campsite has electric and water hook-ups and can accomodate tents or full size RV's. Pets are welcome and boat rentals are available. Sure-Wood Forest Campground has a nice sandy beach and swimming area with a swim raft.
Lake Alice is part of the Wisconsin River system and is supported by the Kings Dam in Tomahawk.
